Madison has obtained a Master’s of Music in Voice Performance and Literature at
Western University, under the tutelage of Anita Krause-Wiebe. She made her operatic
debut in 2012 as Cherubino in Mozart’s ‘The Marriage of Figaro’ with SOLT. Madison
was featured as a soloist for Orchestra London with The Canadian Operatic Arts
Academy. She was also featured as The Secretary in Menotti’s “The Consul” with
UWOpera that year. In 2013, Madison made her international debut as “Giulietta” in
Offenbach’s “Les Contes D’Hoffmann” with FIO Americas in São Paulo, Brazil. She was
also seen as the title role in Britten’s “The Rape of Lucretia” with UWOpera that same
year. Summer of 2014, Madison was thrilled to perform the title role in "Iolanthe" with
Yorkshire Opera Workshop, and Ježibaba in Dvorjak’s “Rusalka” with Halifax Summer
Opera Festival. Most recently, she traveled to Lucca, Italy to perform the title role in
Handel’s “Rinaldo” with AEDO.
This past year, Madison has been training as a yoga teacher. Confident in the benefits a
regular yoga practice has for singers, she plans to specialize her teachings in yoga for
singers. She has been teaching music full time and hopes to combine her two passions
and share the incredible practice that is yoga with her peers in the music industry.
